Colour Theory 2013- now
Colour Theory and colour effects are part of my ogoing investigation and experimentation.
In 2013 I began to make works on paper exploring gradation and colour contrasts. I produced geometric compositions on paper and used mainly gouache and watercolour for colour application.
My main influences in this area are colour theorists: Johaness Itten, Johaness Van Goethe and Joseph Albers.
The works of Annie Albers, Mark Rothko and Carmen Herrera provided me with a lot of inspiration and learning, such as composition of an image, balance and the emotional affect of colour combinations.
